  • Volunteers play an important role in the success and sustainability of our basketball club. Without the dedication and support of volunteers, the club would not be able to provide the enriching experiences that our players benefit from.
Volunteering is not just about assisting with game days or practices; it is about fostering a sense of community and ensuring that every player has the opportunity to grow and excel in their sport. Here are a few key reasons why your involvement is so important:
Sustaining Club Operations: Our club is run entirely by volunteers. From organising teams, coordinating practices, ensuring players have uniforms and all administrative tasks, every aspect of the club relies on the time and effort contributed by our volunteers.
Enhancing the Experience: Volunteering helps create a positive and supportive environment for our players. When parents are actively involved, it not only enriches the experience for the players but also builds a stronger sense of community among families.
Fostering Team Spirit: Your participation in volunteering opportunities sets a great example for the children. It demonstrates the importance of teamwork and giving back, which are valuable lessons that extend beyond the basketball court.
We understand that everyone has busy schedules, however for our club to continue to succeed we need your help.
All attendees must register for attendance. Registration and nomination close Sunday 15th June at 6:00pm.
Please contact the club secretary if you have any questions heathdale.hornets.secretary@gmail.com
